San Canessa (b. 1988) is a Salvadoran painter based in Santa Fe, NM, known for their abstract artworks created by imprinting ink on water, showcasing organic and molecule-like figures. With a focus on capturing memories from a non-linear perspective, their pieces offer unique abstractions of time and location. San holds a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies, a Postgraduate Fine Art Certificate from the Glasgow School of Art and is currently pursuing an MA in Art Therapy at Southwestern College. San‘s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
